CALL FOR ENTRIES for StartUP
Join us in Devon at one the finest contemporary craft selling events in Europe.
Start UP A dedicated marquee at The Craft Festival for makers who have been in business for 2 years or less (started trading since January 2017). Our aim is to support fledgling careers and to encourage and promote the wealth of creative talent we have in the UK. Stands in the StartUP section are offered at a much reduced rate to The Craft Festival's main marquees and create an outstanding opportunity for businesses of two year or less.
You make ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, plastics, mixed media, leather, recycled materials, printmaking and paper. You are resident in the UK or Ireland and your work shows a dedication to quality of making, presentation and originality.
Deadline 6pm Friday January 25th, 2019

Want to Rock Instagram? Learn to write a press release? Tips on how to sell directly to the public? Join us at Preparing to Sell on February 5th at Plymouth College of Art, where we will be joined by Instagram Star & Queen of Chunky Knits, Lauren Aston Designs who will share her incredible insight in using Instagram to increase sales. Our director, Sarah James will be talking about planning a marketing campaign, stand presentation tips and techniques of how to sell to the public and our PR chief, Fran Moorhouse will talk about how to write a press release. It's fun, very informative and includes lunch. This lively and useful day is just £35 and includes lunch (Student Discount available, just ask)
