Chat with Barbora Rybarova

Tune in at 11am everyday this week on our @CraftFestival Instagram account to chat with some of our marvellous makers and sponsors from Craft Festival Cheltenham.
David Crump's 5 Favourites from Bovey Tracey
With Craft Festival Bovey Tracey just round the corner, we thought it was about time we started introducing some of our Bovey Tracey 5 favourites and exhibitors.
David Crump is the Head of Business Incubation at Cockpit Arts.
Alongside his role with Cockpit Arts, David retains his interest in sustainable jewellery production, being the founder member of the UK group Fair Luxury and an advisory board member of Ethical Metalsmiths in the USA.
I love the attitude of fun combined with first class work – everyone should own a pair!
Our Leather Hub at Cockpit means that we get to work with a wide range of really exciting leather makers.
Very engaging aesthetic that drew me in, and I love her shout out “dress like nobody’s judging”.
I love the way she uses natural colours from the different materials.
I’ve been working with the Basketmakers Association this year (a tailored professional development programme) and feel like basketry is about to explode on the craft scene in a big way.
Really striking architectural designs, underpinned by a strong focus on the natural world, sustainability and organic materials. What’s not to love?!
Griffin and Sinclair Furniture:
Beautiful aesthetic, really striking – but also combined with a great ethos of sustainability.
COVID Safety
We want to reassure Craft Festival visitors to Cheltenham and Bovey Tracey that the safety of our visitors, exhibitors, volunteers, performers, educators and contractors is very important to us.
With this in mind:
- Our team and exhibitors will wear face coverings indoors.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance of the Festival and at key points.
- There will also be hand washing facilities on site.
- Each exhibitor will have hand sanitizer available.
- You will be asked to check into the NHS Track & Trace app as you enter the Festival.
- We have limited tickets for each day and numbers entering the marquees/venue will be closely monitored with a one-way system in place.
We politely ask that for the safety of everyone you wear a face covering where possible, that you use the hand sanitizer provided and please respect the personal space of those around you.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you to Cheltenham Town Hall & Mill Marsh Park, Bovey Tracey.
Book your tickets now.
Volunteer and join our team
Each year we take on an army of friendly volunteers to help run our Craft Festivals. If you'd like to volunteer, we'd love to hear from you.
It's a great opportunity for you to get involved, get real hands on experience and support the craft community.
