Ordering Tickets
All ordering of tickets is done via Ticketsource using Stripe. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. We do not keep any records of your card details and tickets are emailed to the address you provide on Ticketsource.
The total cost of your ticket is the price plus booking fee. By entering card details onto Stripe you confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Payments Ticket: Payment for all tickets is at point of sale and not at point of despatch. Payments for tickets must be made using Ticketsource and Stripe via the website.
Customer Details Please ensure that your delivery email address details are correct. We cannot be held responsible for any delivery problems that may arise due to incorrect email input details.
Returns and Refunds of tickets
If you change your mind you’re entitled to cancel, provided you do so before 2 June 2023 (7 days prior to the event opening). Please email us hello@craftfestival.co.uk with your contact details and your booking reference and let us know why you need refunding. You’ll be given a full refund, which includes the initial booking fee less charges. We are a small, non-profit making company and would sincerely ask you to donate our ticket price instead of refunding. Please email us on hello@craftfestival.co.uk with your contact details, your order details and let us know why you need refunding. We regret we are unable to process refund cancellation notifications made after 6pm Thursday 1 June 2023.
Privacy Policy Craft Festival is a UK based website, working in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018. We do not store credit card details and we do not keep any records of your card details. We collect data about you when you join our mailing list or contact us. We may share your contact details with our carefully selected partners if you have given us permission. You’ll always be able to unsubscribe from any mailing list. We take your personal privacy very seriously and will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you unless approved by you or unless we are required to do so by law. When you contact us you’ll be asked if you would like your details to be added to our mailing list. We run this as an ‘opt-in’ rather than ‘opt-out’ system as we respect your privacy. If you opt to join our mailing list we’ll only use your details for the purposes if telling you our news, special offers from our partners and information about the event. You can unsubscribe at any time. We provide links to other sites that may not have the same strict privacy policy as ours and cannot accept responsibility for other sites once you have left Craft Festival. We will of course take all reasonable care, in so far as it’s in our power to do so, to keep your personal details secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing our website.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. To be eligible to purchase products on this website you must be over 18 years of age, stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom (PO box numbers and hotels are not acceptable) and possess a valid credit or debit card. We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by anyone at any time. Delivery Charges UK mainland delivery costs are in the ticket and booking fee. FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITORS AT CRAFT FESTIVAL, Bovey Tracey 2023. Please see the Terms & Conditions specific to your section on your booking form - some deadline dates will vary according to your section. Below are our general Terms & Conditions
1 Exhibitors must keep their stands open and attended by knowledgeable staff throughout the period of the event including any previews. Set up day is Thursday 8 June (or Weds 7 June for Demonstrators/Caterers/Making & Materials) from 9am till 5pm.
2 Exhibitors may not sub-let space within the area allocated to them.
3 The organiser reserves the right to move stands and reallocate space previously notified to exhibitors and to cancel and/or amend the event if required by circumstances outside their control.
4 The organiser will remove any part of the display outside the limits of an exhibitor’s allocated space and may further restrict the display or demonstration of any mechanical or other equipment should it be a nuisance to other exhibitors or the visiting public. The use of video equipment must be authorised in writing by the organiser before installation.
5 Exhibitors must not display goods of an inflammable, noxious or obscene nature, and the organiser will remove any such unsuitable material from the Festival.
6 Screws, nails or staples may not be used on the marquee structure. We can accept the use of small very small screws or nails on the shell scheme, provided they are made good after. Exhibitors will be liable for any damage caused to the shell scheme and/or marquee.
7 No part of an exhibitor’s stand or display may be attached to the marquee. Exhibitors will be liable for any damage they cause to the fabric of the venue.
8 It is the responsibility of Exhibitors to notify the organisers of any parts missing from the stand order before close of play Thursday 8 June. Alterations to stand and electrics will be addressed outside of public opening hours at the earliest opportunity.
9 Exhibitors may not move or install any lighting or electrical appliance without written approval of the organiser. Any lighting or electrical appliance not supplied by the electrical contractor must be approved by the contractor before installation. PAT testing certificates must be shown.
10 Exhibitors wishing to display work substantially different in nature from that accepted by the selection panel must apply to the organiser in writing.
11 The organisers accepts no liability for loss or damage to exhibitors’ work neither during the event nor during setting-up or dismantling. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual exhibitor and exhibitors are expected to ensure they are covered for all eventualities including public liability. Exhibitors are advised to cover and protect their work at night as condensation is an uncontrollable condition created in outdoor & marquee events. Please protect your work from damp conditions, especially overnight. Please note that condensation can occur at any time, day or night.
Payment Schedule and Cancellation Policy.
12 Space is allocated on receipt of a non refundable deposit by 6 January 2022. Exhibitors cancelling after 6 January and before 14 April 2023 are liable to pay up to 50% of their stand fees. Exhibitors who cancel within 8 weeks/56 days of the event opening of the event are liable for the total cost of the stand. 14 April 2022. Exhibitors wishing to withdraw must notify the organisers in writing.
13 Payment in full (all sections, including Demonstrators, Making & Materials, StartUp and Caterers) must be received by 24 March 2023. The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to exhibitors who have not paid for their stand in full prior to the event opening. Stand Payments Stand payments can only be paid by Bacs or via Debit/Credit Card.
14 Craft Festival reserves the right to withdraw their offer of space from any exhibitor owing monies to the event on any account (Craft Festival Cheltenham, Bovey Tracey and Findamaker). The organiser also reserves the right to reject applications from makers who have contravened the Terms and Conditions at previous fairs.
15 In the event that we can fulfill orders for additional electrics, lighting or furniture on site, these items must be paid for immediately by cash or debit card.
16 If, because of war, fire, strike, adverse weather conditions, pandemic, government social distancing restrictions or other cause beyond the control of the organisers, the event is cancelled or postponed, the organisers shall have no liability to exhibitors for the refund of stand fees or loss of income resulting from such cancellation.
17 All exhibitors should give full co-operation to the appointed publicity contractor and official photographer in attempting to achieve coverage and promotion for the event.
18 Please ensure displays are adequately stocked with saleable goods made by the exhibitor for the duration of the event. If items are batch produced rather than made fully by the exhibitor, goods should be labelled as such and information about the making process of all exhibits should be available to visitors of the event.
19 Whilst the organiser takes every effort to ensure that exhibitors details are correct in the promotional material for Craft Festival, Bovey Tracey, the organiser cannot accept responsibility for any errors printed therein and the organisers shall have no liability to exhibitors for any claims resulting from such errors.
Your Privacy:
20 Upon receipt of your official Exhibitor Booking Form contract, you will grant us your permission to use your contact details to keep you informed with all relevant details pertaining to the Craft Festival, Bovey 2023 as well as relevant follow up information for the calendar year 2023/24. Your contact information will not be used for other purposes without your express opt-in permission.
21 In consideration of Craft Festival assisting exhibitors in promoting their work, exhibitors must agree to grant the event a non exclusive copyright licence for the calendar year 2023/24 for any promotional materials supplied to Craft Festival and/or its appointed publicity contractor, for the purposes of promoting and publicising their work and Craft Festival, Bovey 2023/24. In granting this licence exhibitors should be aware that the promotions may include the use of these materials on the Internet (World Wide Web) and that any images supplied may be scanned and held digitally for this purpose. The copyright is and will continue to be beneficially and solely owned by the exhibitor, who must ensure that it does not and will not infringe on any other copyright and that no information contained in the materials is or shall be inaccurate, misleading or injurious.
22 Exhibitors will be allocated security wristbands. Wristband allocation will vary according to your section, please refer to your booking form. Only official wristbands will be recognized and security will refuse entry if not worn. Extra wristbands cannot be issued once the show has opened. Wristbands that are removed or tampered with will be rendered void and a new one must be purchased at full to price to gain admittance. Group stands in Making & Materials and Caterers will be allocated wristbands & car parking permits in relation to the size of the stand booked. Pleaser refer to T&C on your booking form.
23 All exhibitors must clearly display their parking permit in the windscreen of their vehicles upon arrival on site.
24 Exhibitors must park in the allocated car park at all times during public opening times unless given permission for mobility reasons. You will be advised which carpark to use.
25 All exhibitors must adhere with latest Government Advice regarding public safety, Covid 19 and its variants.
CRAFT FESTIVAL CATERERS Terms & Conditions Security, Licensing & Public Liability
All exhibitors enter at their own risk. All exhibitors should ensure that they are adequately insured on the date of the festival for Public, Product and Employees Liability and should send a copy of the relevant document with their application form. All exhibitors must ensure that they have the necessary licence(s) to legally conduct their business on the day.
For alcohol sellers, please provide a copy of your license as Authorisation to Sell Alcohol. We prefer and strongly recommend that stalls selling alcohol are overseen by a personal licence holder. You may require other licences/permits, these are your responsibility. Copies of all applicable licences/permits must be sent to the organisers if accepted.
Exhibitors must provide fire safety equipment appropriate to their activities. In particular, all exhibitors that cook on site must have adequate fire fighting equipment including fire blankets. The organisers shall not be held responsible for loss or damage of stock or equipment, howsoever caused, during the festival. Environmental Health & Trading Standards Food sellers should ensure that they are registered with their local authority prior to the Festival. Exhibitors are expected to comply with relevant legislation in respect of Trading Standards, Health and Safety and Environmental Health of Teignbridge District Council. Stalls are liable to be inspected during the Festival and those deemed not to comply with relevant regulations may be shut down. Food producers should ensure that they have an adequate food safety management system, ensuring that the food they prepare and sell is safe to eat. Waste: Stallholders are expected to keep their surrounding areas as clean as possible throughout the Festival. Where appropriate, adequate precautions should be taken to prevent oil / fluid spillage by the use of trays underneath all vehicles. Facilities for refuse disposal and recycling will be provided on site. No trade waste is to be placed in the public bins and should be removed to the skips provided. You are responsible for the disposal of any foul water/oil/fluid and we recommend that you take it away with you in a suitable foul drainage system.
Electricity: Electrical supplies are available. These must be booked and paid for on your application form. Extension leads if required (from the supplied unit) are the responsibility of the exhibitor and are not available from the organisers.
Disposables: All food containers, packaging, plates and cutlery etc. should be constructed of biodegradable materials such as paper and wood. Drinks containers should be recyclable and we prefer recyclable plastic to biodegradable plastic. If biodegradable drink containers are used, they should be clearly marked. Polystyrene and other non-recyclables are banned.
****In line with our environmental policy, drinks of any kind must not be sold in plastic bottles. Cans and glass bottles are acceptable.****
Equipment: Exhibitors may NOT bring their own generators onto site. All electrical equipment must be certified and have a current PAT certificate. This certificate must be made available for inspection by our electrician at the Festival. Please note that non PAT tested equipment cannot be used under any circumstances. All gas equipment must be covered by a current gas certificate issued by a registered gas engineer. Once accepted, please forward copies of PAT/Gas certificate(s) with your application form.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ALL EXHIBITORS HEALTH & SAFETY.
All Exhibitors have a responsibility to ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others. The organiser shall not be held responsible by any exhibitor or their staff/agents or members of the public for any injury or loss due to negligence or unsafe displays. All exhibitors are required to have carried out an assessment of the potential risks associated with their activities. Upon selection, stand holders must supply a copy of their risk assessment where applicable. Fire safety equipment appropriate to their activities must be provided.
