The Mission Gallery chooses their 5 Favourites from Made by Hand, Cardiff
Mission Gallery in Swansea has developed a national and international reputation as leading gallery for presenting the very best in contemporary fine and applied arts. To kick off our popular 5 Favourites Series, we are delighted that Rhian Wyn Stone from Mission Gallery has made some great choices from this year's collection of makers.
Takashi McGil: Work that you can't help but handle - so tactile and always beautifully displayed.
Emily J Bruce: Emily was part of our Graduate Showcase last year, her attention to detail adds so much to these enchanting creatures.
Marion Lebouteiller: Sheer elegance. The fluidity within these pieces showcases how simple forms do make a statement.
Bronwen Gwilym: Upcycled jewellery that experiments with shape, texture and colour, may have to try on a few pieces!
Lisa Marie-Tann: I'm looking forward to seeing her Foliage collection pieces - the combination of decal and origial drawings with the hint of colour in the wood ash glaze works so well.
