At Craft Festival, Bovey Tracey in 2021 we introduced a number of Covid safety initiatives and will continue to work hard to make the event as Covid secure as possible for all our visitors, exhibitors and staff.  Feedback has been overwhelmingly in favour of keeping some measures in place, such as restricting numbers in the main tents at any one time.

Festival Entry

  • To help us manage numbers, please BOOK ONLINE in advance.
  • In order to stay within number restrictions, there will be very limited tickets available on the gate.  At busy periods, you may be asked to wait before  purchasing tickets on the gate.
  • Children (accompanied by an Adult ticket holder) under 18 are FREE, but as they count towards our overall visitor capacity please register them by adding additional tickets to your basket

Covid Safety the Festival

  • Please do not attend if you have tested positive for Covid in the last 5 days.
  • We would ask you not to attend if you or or someone you have close contact with has had symptoms in the last 10 days.
  • Wearing of facecoverings is by personal choice.  We would recommend you wear them when inside the closed marquees but this is at your discretion.
  • Be mindful of social distancing when in crowded areas and queues and try to keep a minimum of 1m around you when around the festival. Please be patient at pinch points such as the entrance and around food outlets.
  • On arrival please sanitise your hands at the entrance. Sanitiser stations and handwashing facilities will be available around the site.
  • You will be required to wear wristbands at the festival. Our Front of House staff will usually assist to put these on, working behind perspex screens. If you would rather put on you own wristband please be willing to show our front of house team.
  • For your comfort, there will be limited numbers within each tent.
  • Bring clothing suitable for all weathers!  There will be plenty of tables and chairs, but fewer under cover, as we will continue to space our under cover seating with distancing in mind.

What we’re doing:

  • You will find sanitiser stations and extra handwashing facilities around the site.
  • We have increased ventilation in the 'closed' marquees
  • There will be additional toilet facilities to allow for frequent cleaning.
  • Frequent disinfecting of the tables, touch points and seating around the event.
  • Our staff and stewards will be available to help you with directions and monitor crowd capacity.
  • We encourage all our Exhibitors to take contactless payments wherever possible.
