What do the Olympics and the Digital Craft Festival have in common…
Imagine our excitement when we discovered that Olympic Diver, proud Devonian and all-round lovely person, Tom Daley was seriously into knitting and crochet. We HAD to get in touch.
With the Digital Craft Festival just a few weeks away, Tom's taken time out of very busy training schedule, as he builds up to the Summer Games, to choose his 5 Favourites. IKR!
You can follow Tom's knitting and crochet adventures on Instagram @madewithlovebytomdaley

Thank you Tom and we have our fingers crossed for Tokyo.
In his own words, here are Tom’s 5 Favourites…
Jack Durling I love animals and I love what Jack stands for, I am sitting here with my son and he is so excited to see all of these so intricately made and finished animals!
Griffin and Sinclair Furniture I love the style and creativity of the different pieces, I would definitely have something in our home!
Anya Keeley It inspires me how someone can be so creative with materials that others might “just throw out” and to turn them into something with imagination and character is really impressive.
The Thread of Everything I love the handmade detailing and how just one sentence or one word can be so dramatic and impactful!
Loopy Ewes With knotting and crochet being my chosen craft, I love the colour, stitch patterns and inventiveness of the designs.

Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool
If you've visited or taken part in Craft Festival Bovey Tracey, you may have had a splash in our lovely outdoor pool. Opened in 1969 and still going strong. This Bovey Tracey institution, is run by an incredible community of volunteers and the Craft Festival team are big fans.
We want to support the Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool goal of giving free swimming lessons to children, who have missed out because of Covid.

CALM & Run The Country
During Lockdown, learning to protect your mental health has never been more important.
Our friend, Matt Bagwell (pictured) is an ultra endurance athlete & Advanced Oxygen Advantage™ Breathwork Instructor. During September 2021, assuming it’s legal and safe to do so, he will run 21 consecutive ultramarathons. Totalling over 1050 km and touching every one of 43 counties in England. Why’s he doing this? In recovery from depression, where he faced suicide twice, Matt’s purpose is to connect people across the country through a story of hope, for themselves and the people they love. Run the Country will raise awareness and money for positive mental health and suicide prevention, in partnership with The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
We want to support Matt on his epic journey and we'd love for you to join us in supporting Run the Country and CALM. CLICK HERE TO SUPPORT
