Getting to Bovey Tracey

Bovey Tracey is only 2 miles off the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Expressway.

Exit the A38 at Drumbridges Roundabout and follow signs to Bovey Tracey town centre. 

Follow the AA signs to The Craft Festival. 

Nearest train station Newton Abbot. Regular buses from Exeter, Torquay and Newton Abbot stop at Bovey Tracey. The nearest train station is Newton Abbot. Bus 39 takes you to Bovey Tracey from Newton Station. Exeter International Airport is 18.5 miles away. 

Parking at Craft Festival

There is Free parking at Craft Festival. We have 2 parking areas:

Mill Marsh Park is only for blue badge holders and visitors with limited mobility. Access is via St Johns Lane.

All other free parking off Le Molay Littry Way (B3344) with free Park & Ride service. Park & Ride service every day from 10am - 5pm. Last Bus back 5.00pm. Follow the AA signs.

It is a short walk from the Park & Ride to Mill Marsh Park so you have the option of walking, if preferred. The route is signposted. Pedestrian access to Mill Marsh Park is opposite MAKE Southwest (formerly Devon Guild of Craftsmen).

Accessibility at The Festival

The Festival and all activities except the Craft Cinema are on level ground. There are 4 steps up to the cinema which is hosted in a 1967 Bedford Bus. There are no ramps or steps into the marquees. Entrance/exit points are protected with rubber matting.  (However it is worth bearing in mind that much of the festival is on grass which can get muddy in severe weather).

Parking on Mill Marsh Park is reserved for disabled badge holders and people of limited mobility only.    Visitors may also be dropped opposite the ticket desks and given seating under cover until they are reunited with their driver.  Seating is available around the festival site.

Concession tickets are available for people registered as disabled, Senior Citizens and those in receipt of benefits. Carers are admitted free of charge. Guide & Hearing dogs may be taken into all parts of the festival.

Disabled toilets are provided.

Mobility Scooters 

We are using the services of Newton Abbot Community Transport Association who will be supplying mobility scooters to hire at the event . Car Sharing to The Craft Festival

The Contemporary Craft Festival is in a beautiful, rural location and lots of visitors chose to drive the Festival. To reduce our enviromentmal impact, have you ever thought of lift sharing? Dogs at The Craft Festival

We warmly welcome dogs at the Craft Festival, but only guide and hearing dogs may enter the marquees. 

Mobile and Wifi at The Festival

There is good mobile signal across most mobile providers at Mill Marsh Park. It is advised to check your provider. There is limited 3G & 4G coverage and varies between providers. Please enquire with your supplier and the nearest postcode is TQ13 9AL.
