We make no apologies for encouraging as many children and families as possible to visit us. As well as helping to bridge the gap in the opportunity to make, where do you think the future makers and collectors will come from? With The Craft Lab, (formerly The Children's Craft Tent) our aim is to grow the craft audience from the ground up. Those babies and toddlers that have enjoyed visiting us since 2004 are now teenagers and adults who love and appreciate craft.
All children's activities are free and include workshops, stories, walkabout theatre, sand pit and play tent. Accompanied under 18's are FREE to enter the event. In association with Visit Dartmoor, enjoy a VIP experience at Craft Festival and a great meal courtesy of Bovey's Home Farm Cafe.
